Recent developments in mass spectrometry and other alternatives (e.g OFF-Gel isoelectric focusing system) have made available more options in techniques for performing proteomics. In this seminar titled “The Essential Role of Two Dimensional Electrophoresis – Mass Spectrometry in Proteomic” we provide a platform for debate on the pioneering technique in proteomics and its effectiveness. In addition the seminar has also been designed to introduce the integrated approach in 2DE-MS to new researchers in proteomics with experienced ‘proteomist’ presenting their views.
